Flying Stars Chart Caster

Your home's permanent chart (宅盤) is decided by two things only: which way it faces, and when it was built. Enter both and you get the same chart our report is written from.

The direction the building faces — the side the main frontage and windows look out on, not the way your front door opens.

If you measured with a compass, enter the degrees (0–359.9). Degrees decide the 24-mountain reading and can select a different chart than the 8-direction dropdown alone.

For an apartment, the year the whole building was completed — not the year you moved in.

Structure, roof, front-door orientation or substantial wall removal. Paint and flooring do not count. A major renovation resets the period.

What the numbers mean

Each palace holds three numbers: the mountain star (山星, red) governs people, health and relationships; the facing star (向星, gold) governs money and opportunity; the period star (運星, black) is the base layer the other two fly from. A star is timely or untimely depending on the current period — we are in Period 9 (2024–2043), so 9 is the prosperous star now and 8 has just passed its peak.

What this tool cannot tell you

A chart is potential, not outcome. Whether a good star is actually working depends on what stands outside that sector — water, open space, a wall, a road — and whether the rooms you use are in the right palaces. The chart also says nothing about the people living there; that needs the Kua numbers. Those are exactly the parts a chart caster cannot do for you.

This page uses the same lookup tables and the same code as our paid reports. Nothing on it is generated by AI.

This is the arithmetic. The reading is the other half.

A chart tells you where the stars are. What it does not tell you is which room you sleep in, what stands outside that window, and what to do about it. That is what the full report is for.
